Bio

Alice Diamond is a Mancunian artist working mainly in acrylic paint, whilst also producing work in mixed media and lens. Diamond's work seeks to describe and discuss themes of landscape and environment, addressing in particular how human activity has a direct impact on this subject matter. Influenced by current events and political theory (both contemporary and historical), her work is often intended as a message and plea for conscientious and responsible activity in favour of preserving the landscape we as a human race are so intrinsically reliant on for our survival.
